London – Edelman, the world’s largest independent PR agency, today announced that Jules Peck, Director of David Cameron’s Quality of Life Policy Group, has joined forces with the agency in a part-time, senior strategic adviser role.
Peck joins a line-up of senior strategic counsel at Edelman UK, which includes David Mansfield, Non Executive Director – Carphone Warehouse plc; Chairman – RAJAR Ltd; Executive Director, Ingenious Media plc.
Robert Phillips, CEO, Edelman UK, said: “In recent months, Jules and I have had many discussions over the future direction of Responsibility in all its dimensions and the role that agencies such as ours can and should play. He will help us to shape thinking both for Edelman UK and for our clients. We are already working together on a number of major projects.”

Jules Peck is a recognised international authority in the field of sustainability, government affairs and the impact of corporate policy on the environment. He has over 20 years’ experience as an adviser in the corporate world, in NGOs and for government institutions. Before joining the Quality of Life Policy Group, he worked for five years at the WWF as their Global Policy Adviser, helping formulate their global environmental strategy. He has worked on sustainability issues at the EC, as well as in corporate and government positions in the UK and US. Jules is also the Vice-Chair of the Bulmer Foundation and a trustee and board member of a number of other charities as well an adviser to initiatives such as The Green Thing and the Societás ‘The Message is the Medium’ awards. He is a regular public speaker and has published numerous papers and reports, including most recently ‘Let Them Eat Cake’ (2007), a report on the commercial potential of ‘responsible’ mainstream brands, and ‘Hope and Glory’ (2008), a report on Venture Capital and sustainability co-authored with John Grant.
