Paul Myners is Chairman of Edelman UK and Chancellor of the University of Exeter. His numerous financial sector roles have included directorships at NatWest, Coutts, Lloyd’s of London and the Bank of New York. He has also served on the Court of the Bank of England, the board of Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund GIC and as a minister in the UK Treasury. Paul is currently a General Partner of Cevian, the largest ‘activist fund’ in Europe, Managing Partner of Autonomous Research LLP, a member of the Court of the London School of Economics, a Fellow of Nuffield College, Oxford and an Executive Fellow of London Business School.

Anji Hunter is a Senior Advisor at Edelman, providing strategic counsel to clients on corporate reputation building, crisis management and public affairs, as well as acting as a mentor to Edelman employees. She worked for Prime Minister Tony Blair MP for 15 years, both in opposition and government, eventually serving as Head of Government Relations in Downing Street. After leaving politics, she spent time as Group Director of Communications at BP Group, Head of Government and Social Affairs at Anglo American plc, and Director of the Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering. Anji is highly experienced in working with governments, businesses, NGOs and the media.

Georg Ell is Director for Western Europe at Tesla, leading teams in the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg on a mission to accelerate the world’s move towards sustainable transport and energy. Prior to joining Tesla, he was Vice President & General Manager for EMEA at tech communications company Fuze, and General Manager, EMEA for Microsoft’s enterprise social networking service Yammer. Georg was recently listed in Debrett’s 500 People of Influence. He has a deep knowledge of the technology, energy and communications sectors.

Lord Browne of Madingley, FRS, FREng holds degrees from Cambridge and Stanford Universities.

He joined BP in 1966, was appointed to the board in 1992 and was Group Chief Executive from 1995 – 2007.  He has served on the boards of Intel, DaimlerChrysler, Goldman Sachs and SmithKline Beecham.

He is presently Chairman of L1 Energy, Huawei Technologies (UK), the Chairman of the Trustees of both Tate and the Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering, Chairman of the Donmar Warehouse, and Chairman of the International Advisory Board of the Blavatnik School of Government at Oxford University.

Stephen Sherbourne is a Conservative peer who plays an active role in the House of Lords. He is a party whip and also sits on the Lords’ Select Committee on Communications, which undertakes inquiries into different aspects of the media and creative industries. He was Political Secretary to Margaret Thatcher at Number 10 and Chief of Staff to Michael Howard when he was Conservative Party Leader. Stephen also spent time as a Board Director of Chime Communications before becoming Chairman of public affairs company Interel and Director of Smithfield, the financial public relations consultancy that is now part of Edelman.

John Sawers is Chairman of political risk advisory firm Macro Advisory Partners and Non-Executive Director of BP. Previously, he was Chief of the British Secret Intelligence Service (MI6), leading it through a period of high terrorist threat and international political upheaval. During a 36 year career in public service, John served as UK Ambassador to the United Nations, Political Director of the Foreign Office, Special Representative in Iraq, Ambassador to Cairo, and Foreign Policy Adviser to Prime Minister Tony Blair MP. He is currently Visiting Professor at King’s College London, Senior Fellow of the Royal United Services Institute and Governor of the Ditchley Foundation.

Tina Brown CBE is an award-winning journalist and author, and founder and CEO of Tina Brown Live Media, a company dedicated to summits, salons, flash forums and debates. For 21 years, she was Editor-in-Chief of Tatler, Vanity Fair and The New Yorker. She also wrote The Diana Chronicles, the best-selling biography of the Princess of Wales, and launched acclaimed digital news site The Daily Beast. Tina was made Commander of the Order of the British Empire for services to journalism and is currently at the helm of Women in the World, an annual summit focused on building better lives for women and girls.
