Citizenship

Being a responsible business is something we take very seriously and we are committed to fulfilling our ambitions at every level across the agency.

Edelman Citizenship is focused on our social and environmental responsibilities, but also on who we are as a business, our culture and ways of working.

We firmly believe in giving our employees the opportunity to develop personally and professionally by getting them actively involved in our journey towards sustainability. Everyone is encouraged to donate their time and skill.

We have groups across the agency driving our progress around shared interests: diversity, environmental responsibility, pro bono work, volunteering, fundraising and curating the Edelman Art Programme.

Annual reporting based on the GRI Reporting Framework:

A Declaration of Interdependence is the firm’s first annual citizenship report using the Global Reporting Initiative framework to measure our progress. The report documents the results of Edelman’s first global carbon footprint and the firm’s efforts to monitor, track, and set targets to reduce our green house gas emissions. It also details how our employees are actively involved in addressing specific societal issues through pro bono services.
