Chris Komisarjevsky Joins Edelman As Strategic Advisor

Edelman, the world’s largest independent public relations firm, announced today that Chris Komisarjevsky, former CEO of Burson-Marsteller, has joined Edelman as Strategic Advisor to President and CEO, Richard Edelman. In his role, Chris will act as pro tem chair of the firm’s global Corporate practice, support global clients and assist the firm’s leadership development programme.

Natural Mat Company appoints JCPR to help more babies get a better night's sleep

Natural fibre mattress manufacturer, The Natural Mat Company, has appointed JCPR to relaunch its natural infant mattress brand to the UK market. The account was won following a competitive pitch and will be led by Amber O'Connor, head of JCPR's Wellness & Lifestyle team.

Edelman Acquires Digital Agency, Spook Media

Edelman today announced it has acquired Spook Media, the leading digital agency specialising in Web Design, Web Development, Mobile Application Development, and Content Management. The move sees the Spook team, led by Marcus Dyer, work in tandem with Edelman's Digital practice with immediate effect. As well as maintaining his role as MD of Spook, Dyer becomes Managing Director, Edelman Digital, and will work alongside Marshall Manson, Director of Digital Strategy.

Edelman takes on British Council's new climate change initiative 'Challenge Europe'

The British Council has appointed Edelman to handle PR for its ambitious Challenge Europe initiative across 14 countries. Young talented, high achievers from a range of backgrounds will be assembled to form a team of 'Climate Advocates', whose aim will be to make a definite and lasting impact on the climate change debate. Their ultimate mission will be to develop ideas to fundamentally change the way we use carbon.
