Marshall Manson is Managing Director of Digital for Edelman in EMEA, and a leader in the field of online strategy, communications and reputation management. Marshall is based in London, and previously was Vice-President of Digital Public Affairs in Washington, DC.
Marshall oversees Edelman’s network of more than 60 digital specialists in 17 offices across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Marshall advises a host of clients that span industries on digital strategy, brand marketing, online reputation management, crisis management, advocacy, engagement and viral marketing. Some of his current and former clients include Research in Motion, Shell, Krispy Kreme, Johnnie Walker whiskey, Diageo, English Heritage and the BBC.
Marshall is also an online influencer in his own right – contributing to a number of blogs. He also maintains a presence in Facebook and is active in Twitter (@marshallmanson).
His work has also appeared in traditional media publications including the Washington Post and International Herald-Tribune,
Prior to joining Edelman, Marshall worked for several communications firms, including The Sterling Corporation, where his print and electronic media products were recognized with Communicator and Pollie Awards and featured in Campaigns and Elections magazine.
Marshall lives in Islington with his wife, Stephanie, and their beagle, Cody.
