Media delivery is at the heart of what Edelman does. The Edelman Strategic Media Unit (SMU) delivers high impact media relations programmes for clients in the UK and across the globe.

Our senior staff of former journalists has extensive experience in both print and broadcast media, across a variety of sectors.
We are therefore able to offer clients both experienced counsel and insights as well as access to our invaluable contacts books.

Global Campaigns

This award-winning division runs retained programmes for a variety of clients as well as high-intensity media campaigns and projects. We work closely with all of Edelman's different practice areas in London and throughout the agency’s global network to help drive the news agenda for our clients.

London is one of the most important and influential media centres in the world. We have daily contact with journalists in the UK domestic and international media as well as the capital’s extensive network of foreign correspondents.

Communications Training

The SMU is also the home for Edelman’s communications training. We run bespoke training sessions for C-Level executives across the world. Our offering includes presentation, select committee, crisis media, media relations workshops and general media training.

Our courses prepare clients to deal with all aspects of the media including broadcast, print and online.

In December 2007 the SMU won the European Excellence Award in the International Communication category.
