For the fifth year running, Edelman is hosting the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism’s Digital News Report 2018 on Thursday 14th June.

The consumption of increasingly distrusted news on increasingly complex platforms by increasingly confused consumers presents a fiendish puzzle to those trying to find a sustainable business model for journalism. We’ll be trying to identify the trends that matter, and the fads that don’t in the fast changing world of digital news.

Join Ed Williams, CEO, UK & Vice Chairman, Europe who will chair the UK launch of the 2018 Digital News Report from the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism at the University of Oxford.

The report examines trends and issues across 36 countries with new insights on paying for news, the role of platforms, and trust in news media.

David Levy, Director of the Reuters Institute, and Nic Newman, Research Associate and lead author of the report, will be joined by our expert panellists including:

David Dinsmore, COO News UK and Chair of the News Media Association

Polly Curtis, Editor in Chief, HuffPost UK

Fran Unsworth, Director News and Current Affairs, BBC

Nick Wrenn, Head of News Partnerships EMEA, Facebook

Tune in live at 08.35am on Thursday:
