EU Referendum Result: Technology

Brexit, Technology

Today marks the start of the first full week in office for the new Prime Minister Theresa May. She faces a tough task as she leads the country through what is a time of great uncertainty.

For the technology sector in particular, changes are afoot in a post-Brexit world. Technology is typically a resilient industry accustomed to changing times. Be that as it may, the economic, political and legislative environment will shift almost as much as the technology itself in the coming years. A unique mix of challenges and opportunities will arise as a result.

What will come of investment in British tech companies and the staff that will lead future growth? Will our exit from the European Union bring about irreparable damage to businesses operating on British shores? And what does a low carbon future look like outside of the EU?

Edelman has produced a briefing document that discusses these issues, which you can read and download below or here.
