Labour Party Conference 2016

Government Affairs, News

The Labour Party Conference has today drawn to a close in Liverpool. Plenty of attendees entertained themselves with a visit to some of Liverpool’s many Beatles-themed attractions – not least dancing along to several tribute acts in the bars. But will Jeremy Corbyn’s refusal to be a Tony Blair tribute act help the party get back to where they once belonged – in government?

The Edelman Public Affairs team has put together an overview of Conference, including the key policy takeaways, stakeholder reaction to the major speeches and some scenarios for what could happen next to the Opposition. You can find our note here.
