Dr Chris Brauer

Dr Chris is a public intellectual and strategic advisor. His focus is on public and media engagement with global issues impacting and shaping our current and future socio-economic and socio-cultural lives.

He is Chairman of Innovation at Edelman, advising and working with Edelman staff and clients on the challenges and opportunities of digital transformation, inclusivity, disruption, performance cultures at work, and AI. He led the world's largest behaviour change driving experiment with 3,000 drivers in 13 countries with Shell, has led AI and cultural transformation research for Microsoft for the past four years, developed the psychological framework of the Science of Common Ground for Heineken's award-winning Open your World campaign, and benchmarked the vulnerabilities of global corporate leaders to key cybersecurity challenges for NASDAQ.

As Director of Innovation for Goldsmiths, University of London he conducts large-scale empirical research projects on the intersections of emerging technologies, future of work, human behaviour, risk, ethics, governance, productivity and innovation. His research has featured in over 400 media outlets worldwide including extensive segments in BBC News, Financial Times, CNN, CBC, CNBC, Wall Street Journal, Globo, BBC World Service, BBC Click, BBC Newsnight, the Daily Mail, and China Central TV (CCTV).

Dr Chris is one of 50 global industrial strategy officers for the World Economic Forum (WEF), a frequent keynote speaker at corporate and public events and a certified PMP, PRINCE2, AGILE, and SCRUM project manager.
