The Dissolution of Parliament - General Election 2017

Government Affairs

Parliament today prorogues for the election. Next week it will dissolve. What does it all mean?

It can be tricky to work out at what point MPs cease to be MPs, whether their staff will still be in the Palace of Westminster and how the election process works – so Edelman has produced a video outlining how the Dissolution of Parliament works … and what comes next.

For more information and for advice on how your business can best navigate the election and the new Parliament, please get in touch with Will Walden at Will.Walden@edelman.com.
