Matt is Managing Director of Edelman UK’s brand practice. Before joining Edelman, Matt was the Regional Managing Director of TBWA \ Media Arts Lab running Apple across EMERT. Working with the Global Client team out of Cupertino, the regional team and local markets, Matt developed a range of award winning activations bespoke to the needs of each market as well as fuelling them always across key channels. From emoji’s at the Grammys and Brits, hip-hop artists in France and film makers in the Middle East, he has been in the middle of some of the most exciting Apple work of recent times. With the creative bar set high, his focus was on developing and maintaining the thinking and creative output, working hand in hand with Client and Media partners.
Before his time on Apple, Matt spent eight years at The Brooklyn Brothers working on global Clients including Jaguar Land Rover, BP Castrol, MINI (part of The BMW Group), OVO Energy and leading the charge across new business. At The Brooklyn Brothers the focus was on big ideas articulated as activations across Paid, Owned and Earned. As Managing Partner Matt ran Account Management, Project Management and Production.
Matt has been in the business for over twenty years. Growing up in advertising, then digital, Matt has worked across it all. As the majority of Matt's work has been global, he is well versed in how to work at both a Global, Regional and Local level.
