Nick provides C-suite counsel and practical advice to help organisations get ahead of crises, respond effectively when they do hit, and emerge stronger and rebuild on the other side. He heads up the Edelman Crisis & Risk team across Europe, Middle East and Africa and leads a practice of 90 people working across the full spectrum of corporate communications out of London.
He has managed numerous campaigns and reputational issues internationally, partnering with clients as diverse as Nissan, UPS, TetraPak, EY, and a European Prime Minister. His work is often at the intersection between business, politics and culture, and he has extensive crisis experience stretching back nearly two decades.
Before joining Edelman’s Corporate team in 2018 Nick advised Hilary Benn MP as Chair of the Brexit Committee. Before that, Nick worked as a Political Adviser in the UK to the Shadow Foreign Secretary and Shadow Communities Secretary. He also worked for the Shadow Financial Secretary to the Treasury, the Economic Secretary to the Treasury, and the former Deputy Prime Minister of the UK
