On Thursday 6th October, Edelman UK played host to Advisory Board Member Tina Brown’s Women In The World event.
This year’s event, the first in a series of four, had an incredible line up of guests including Actress Rosamund Pike, Ukraine’s first female combat pilot, Nadiya Savchenko, captured by Russian troops and falsely imprisoned, Afghanistan’s First Lady Rula Ghani, breaking conventions and advocating for women’s rights and Nadia Murad, a Yazidi refugee, imprisoned and brutalised by ISIS before escaping and now a UN Goodwill ambassador telling the story of her people left behind.
