Craig Woodhouse

Craig recently joined the Edelman team as a Director, with special responsibility for clients in the digital economy, gambling and sporting and leisure sectors. He also leads the company’s political media engagement strategy.
Craig is a former Press Secretary to the Prime Minister who was called into Downing Street in the immediate aftermath of the General Election result. He was previously a senior political journalist working for various national outlets, most recently as chief political correspondent on The Sun, and was chair of the Parliamentary Press Gallery.
He moved in September 2016 to become a special adviser to Culture Secretary Karen Bradley MP, before being posted to the Conservative Party’s HQ as a press officer on its General Election campaign. .
